“As an innovative company, improving our workflow with digital equipment is always a priority,” says Senior Regulatory Compliance Specialist Rasa Jureviciute. “[GlobalVision] was the logical choice.”

A satisfied GlobalVision Web user since 2016 in turn, Teva Baltics uses the web-based deployment option in their offices in three separate countries: Lithuania, Estonia, and Latvia. Based in Lithuania, Jureviciute says the application has come as advertised, as a user-friendly means to reduce inspection times.

“We use GlobalVision daily for document checks and verification purposes. The time savings over the frustration of time-consuming manual proofreading have been a definite advantage,“ she says.

Graphics Inspection and More

Teva Baltics uses several features, including the GlobalVision Graphics Inspection module. It enables users to compare two different files pixel by pixel in a matter of seconds, to find errors in the slightest details that would otherwise go undetected.

“The ability to compare files without live text is one of the biggest reasons we would recommend GlobalVision,” says Jureviciute, citing the easy-to-navigate interface as another contributing factor. “The platform also does a good job of merging all the functions related to artwork checks in one place.”

In fact, additional modules are available within the same platform. They include Barcode and Braille Inspection modes, with Teva Baltics for its part regularly taking advantage of Text Inspection to compare two different files character by character. These can be the originally approved copy in a text or Microsoft® Word® document to the proof, sent back from the printer. In spite of the copy potentially being laid out differently in each file, Teva uses GlobalVision to easily discover conversion errors and changes in general.

Combined, the GlobalVision tools let Teva prevent errors from slipping through the cracks. As a result, the pharmaceutical giant gets its products to market and into the hands of customers in need as fast as possible—and in error-free packaging.
