WestRock Selects GlobalVision for Global Quality Deployment

GlobalVision Print Inspection systems set to be implemented across multiple WestRock locations.

Montreal, Canada – May 11, 2021 – WestRock Company (NYSE: WRK), a leading provider of differentiated paper and packaging solutions, and GlobalVision today announced a finalized global agreement to deploy GlobalVision’s quality inspection systems across WestRock locations. GlobalVision provides powerful quality control software that replaces manual proofreading throughout print and packaging workflows.

Optimized Quality Inspections

With multiple Print Inspection systems currently installed at WestRock’s Lansing, MI location, the company plans to expand the use of GlobalVision’s quality control tools across more North American and European locations throughout 2021. By implementing GlobalVision Print Inspection systems in its production facilities, WestRock will improve the performance and efficiency of quality inspections while setting the foundation for a more streamlined quality control process.

GlobalVision will allow WestRock’s prepress and production departments to perform faster quality inspections by automatically catching digital and printed defects. Users can run complete inspections that range from text, graphics, and barcode verification to Pantone color detection. Compatible with multiple file formats and large files, GlobalVision will help WestRock maintain the integrity of packaging materials by finding true errors and limiting false positives.
