Profile Adjustments Tips 4: Correct Text Kerning Setting
What Does This Feature Do?
The Correct Text Kerning setting compensates for twisted text, folds, creases or shifts that might happen with scanned files.
Why Use this Feature?
Use Correct Text Kerning when the text within one of the files is in a slightly rotated position.
When To Use It
- Increase the Correct Text Kerning setting if unwanted differences are detected due to a slight shift on the Master and Sample match.
When Not To Use It
- Do not increase the Correct Text Kerning setting to the maximum.
Expert Tips
- Set the Correct Text Kerning settings to a level that will compensate for image shifts. This setting will correct the shift by realigning the Master and Sample files.
