License Management

What Does This Feature Do?

If you are an administrator of your GVD account, License Management gives you the ability to see who is currently using the licenses and release licenses if needed.

Why Use this Feature?

This feature allows admins to optimize their use of License Management.

For example, if a user is trying to log into GlobalVision and receives the message “All licenses in use” and cannot proceed, the admin can access the user management window to see who is using the license and release it if needed.

When To Use It

• Use to set up domain accounts.
• If a user is trying to log into GVD and receives the message “All licenses in use” and cannot proceed, the admin can access the user management window to see who is using the license and release it if needed.

When Not To Use It

• Do not set up local accounts under 1 serial number which makes it hard to manage license visibility.

Expert Tips

For the best experience when using License Management:

• Keep the default admin login confidential.
• Ensure the license is properly released by logging out of GVD.
