Turn On Difference Mode
What Does This Feature Do?
This feature blocks out images and colors to focus only on the differences and small variations between your files. The Difference Mode shows you the differences in a greyscale image of the pixel-for-pixel overlay which highlights the detected changes.
Why Use this Feature?
If you are having trouble understanding what the difference is, switch to the Difference Mode for a simple visual of the changes. Essentially, this tool is used to better understand what changes the software is seeing.
When To Use It
- Use this feature when the images are very similar and align well.
- Use when you are looking for very small differences.
When Not To Use It
- When the image has many, sometimes complex, components.
- With scans that bleed.
- For trying to detect color changes.
