Digimarc Barcode

A Digimarc barcode is a hidden digital watermark. It is a new type of barcode that is hidden within the packaging design, repeating across the surface and is almost invisible.

It goes into packaging, labels, or printed materials. You can scan it with devices like smartphones or retail scanners. Digimarc barcodes are different from traditional barcodes or QR codes. They blend into the design, so they don’t take up space. This makes scanning faster and more efficient.

How Digimarc Barcodes Work

  1. Invisible Integration: The barcode is built into the whole package or label. This lets it be scanned from different angles.
  2. High-Speed Scanning: The code is all over the design, so scanners can read it quicker than regular barcodes.
  3. Connected Data: Scanning the code shows product details, tracks stock, aids recycling, or links customers to digital content.

Uses of Digimarc Barcodes

  • Retail & Packaging: Speeds up checkout and improves inventory tracking.
  • Brand Protection: Helps to detect counterfeit products.
  • Recycling & Sustainability: Provides sorting information for waste management.
  • Marketing & Engagement: Links consumers to digital content like promotions, product details, or videos.

Digimarc barcodes are invisible and cover the whole surface. This makes it easier and more efficient to link physical products with digital experiences.
